(DALLAS, TX) – 3 August 2011 – Dallas non-profit charity, Captain Hope’s Kids is the
designated beneficiary of a happy hour business mixer and fundraiser to be held at BlackFinn
restaurant in Addison on Thursday, August 18, 2011. The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A $10.00 donation at the door will entitle attendees to food and drink specials, including $3.00
domestic beers, house wines and well drinks. Complimentary gourmet pizza will be served
between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their business cards for networking

During the evening, there will be drawings for prizes including iTunes gift cards, a gift certificate to Billy Bob’s and a free hole -sponsorship at the Captain Hope’s Kids golf tournament which takes place on October 3, 2011.
Jeanne Reyer, Executive Director of Captain Hope’s Kids, commented, “We are pleased that BlackFinn offered their support for this fundraiser. We believe this is a great opportunity to promote the upcoming ‘Swing For Hope’ golf tournament, but more important – a great way to invite the community to show their support of our organization.” She added, “The evening should be lively, and with the networking opportunity, we hope our supporters will make new connections and support each other as well.”
Founded in 1989, Captain Hope’s Kids is a non-profit organization that works to meet the critical needs of homeless children in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Last year the charity donated approximately $670,000 worth of items to help families including school supplies, school uniforms, backpacks and more than 450,000 diapers and training pants. The items were distributed to children who reside in the area shelters that participate in homeless programs. Captain Hope’s Kids is proud to collaborate with more than 40 homeless service providers in North Texas.
